     @evan cert chaining issue? Do you have the chain bundle in your web server config?

     I catted the bundle and the cert; I thought that would work. Maybe something else...?

     @evan I don't think you're supposed to do that. You're supposed to point your web server at the chain bundle separately.

     @evan never had to merge the two files in the last step for paid certs, your server probably wants the bundle file as-is

     Ha ha! I had a pretty tight firewall on this server and wasn't letting port 443 through. OOPS.
